These are the things we have done so far.
LIVING ROOM / ENTRY
The main thing was a complete repaint. No more purple!
After the tan repaint we got replacement window slider made and installed thermal curtains and security
tint. A bit of
retrimming on the front door made it more presentable. a Mew CO2/Fire detector is instlled I got a real
cheap carpet remanant to throw down on the floor. A better area rug at a later date.
KITCHEN / DINING ROOM / LAUNDRY
A good cleanup.Repair to a cabinet door that was seperating. We replaced the light
fixtures with commercial LED units. Installed thermal curtains and security tint in the two long
windows. The laundry is OK as is.
REAR BEDROOM / BATH
No repainting needed here. Yet! The vinyl cover wallboard is in workable condition.
A good scrub was it for now. New thermal curtains and security tint in here too. All the doors had
to be repaired and
reset. New hinges, door handles and latches.
NEW CARPET TILES - The old shag carpet is gonzo! Outta here! As you can see the room had issues when the
carpet and padding was removed. And the new commercial carpet tiles are in. I love these things. They
have a cushioned base so they are also water resistant. The outer edges and around the door frames is
tedious but very doable.
STAY TUNED - Bathroom tiles are next! We are going to deep six the Bathroom shag carpet and install
commercial VCT tile.
FRONT HALLWAY
The purple has been replaced with white. A new commercial LED fixture is
installed. New thermal curtains and security tint are up.
MIDDLE BEDROOM
Another repaint, thermal curtains, security tint, and an LED fixture. Bit of trim on
the closet for
now. The shag carpet will stay for now.
FRONT BATH
Some work needed in this room. Mostly cleanup but we can do it!
FRONT BEDROOM
A nice repaint and some reset trim. Thermal curtains and privacy tint. The tint is
because the bay window faces the street.
