I am Bob also known as BzeroB. I live in the metro Detroit area where I grew up in and around Detroit in the 50's and 60's. After being away in other states for many years, military service and professional jobs, I returned to my "home ground".And yes, if you don't know it already I have a passion for cars. Growing up in Detroit it is said to be in your blood. And that coupled with military and civilian electronics and computer hardware and software experience I guess you could classify me as an aging techno-gearhead. And I am also a Pastafarian!
I think we all need some familiar "noise" in the background to work by. It's said that it helps you concentrate. Check out what plays in the background for me. It leans heavily to "old" groups that fit into rock and blues.
Everyone needs to just take a break and game. Taking a break and firing up my X-Box is relaxing for me and gives at least a temporary diversion. I don't do a whole lot of online gaming. I do like FPS and play as solo campaigns. You will see from the list that I do like a variety of these genre games.
I joined the US Navy right out of high school. I did my service in the US Navy from 69 to 78. I was an AQ [ Aviation Fire Control Technician ]. And while I made a couple of Med cruises I also got an all expense paid trip to an invitation only event in SE Asia in 72.
The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or Pastafarianism, is the religious following of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, commonly abbreviated as FSM.
"An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny." -- Scientific American.
